Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and support to clients facing various life challenges, including mental health issues and family dynamics.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure holistic care and continuity of services.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and community outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
- Stay current with best practices and regulations in social work and healthcare.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.
